This is Christ's Church. There is a place for you here.
Our Mission: In Christ, we seek to teach, serve and nurture one another through the Word of God.
We are the church that shares a living, daring confidence in God's grace. We rejoice in the good news of God’s gracious act of forgiveness, love and salvation through Jesus Christ, crucified and risen from the dead. Liberated by our faith, we embrace you as a whole person--questions, complexities and all. Join us as we do God's work in Christ's name for the life of the world. Messiah Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
Sunday School for grade school children meets at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings.
"Middle school is a time when kids make important decisions about who they are and what they believe. And so WyldLife leaders seek to model and express God's love to our young friends by learning their names, hearing their stories and honoring their God-given desire for a life of fun, adventure and purpose." Messiah Lutheran partners with Spokane's Wyldlife team at Glover Middle School. Contact the Messiah office for more information.
The Venture Scout Program meets weekly at Messiah Lutheran. "Venturing is an inclusive program through the Boy Scouts of America for males and females aged 14-21 (or 13 and completed the 8th grade)". For information about the Venturing program which meets at Messiah, contact the church office.
"Affirming God’s love for all people, we work with Lutherans and partners around the world to end poverty, injustice and human suffering."
Caritas Outreach Ministries is a collaborative effort of fourteen Northwest Spokane Churches demonstrating Christ's love by assisting those in need in our part of town.
In addition to local community ministries, Messiah Lutheran supports Lutherhaven, and Lutheran Community Services Northwest, who provide a wide variety of services to people throughout the Pacific Northwest.
